This is an enhanced satellite imagery map of Arizona based on Landsat 7 ETM+ Pan-sharpened imagery. It includes county boundaries and principal cities.
All of Arizona’s physical features can be identified in this map. Examples include the Mogollon Rim, a 1,998 feet (609 m) escarpment, that cuts across the central section of the state and marks the southwestern edge of the Colorado Plateau, the famous Grand Canyon which is a colorful, steep-sided gorge, carved by the Colorado River, in northern Arizona and the Barringer Meteorite Crater (better known simply as "Meteor Crater"), south east of Flagstaff.
