Visiting our web site to view content: During the process of delivering web content to you, Newport Geographic does not collect any personally identifiable information about you such as name, address, phone number, or e-mail address. However, we may obtain some types of non-personally identifiable information such as the Internet Service Provider you use to connect to the Internet, your browser type, or the type of computer operating system you use (Macintosh or Windows, for example). This can help us improve the service that we provide.
Newsletter subscription: When you sign up for our newsletter we will send you an e-mail affording you the opportunity to verify your intention before adding your email address to our list.
Registering online: In order to register, users are required to give us contact information (e.g., name, address, telephone number, email address and age), unique identifiers (e.g., your password), and demographic information (e.g., your zip code). We do not share this information with any third party.
Purchasing product: Newport Geographic does NOT collect any of your financial information so your security and privacy are assured. All purchases are handled by PayPal so we never see any of your financial information, including your credit card number. PayPal is one of the most secure means of handling online purchases.
Security of your information: Your financial information (credit card number etc.) is handled securely by PayPal. Newport Geographic neither collects nor sees your financial information.
Newport Geographic will never willfully sell, lease, or rent any of your personally identifiable information to any third party.
Ordering and Shipping Information (including shipping costs and lead times)
General Policy: We accept returns for a refund or replacement for all except custom products. (Giclee prints or plaque mounted prints are made to order, and therefore are custom products. see our return policy for Custom Products below).
The shipping and packaging cost can only be refunded in the cases where we shipped a defective product.
To be eligible for refund or replacement, you must notify Newport Geographic within ten (10) days of receipt of the product.
Additionally, refunds or replacements can only be made for products that are returned in their original and 100% re-sellable condition.
You will need a return Authorization Number (RAN) from Newport Geographic BEFORE you can return the product. You can request a RAN by emailing us at Customer Service [at] newportgeographic [dot] com or calling us at (949) 528 6668. You will need to provide your order number, item number and customer name.
Damaged products: If a product is visibly damaged at time of delivery then refuse it immediately and call our Customer Service (949) 528 6668. If the damage is not found until after the packaging is opened contact the carrier immediately and provide the information requested. Once the claim has been reported to the carrier you will need to contact us to provide us with the details so we can follow through with the claim.
Custom products: In the case of a custom product (this includes Giclee prints, plaque mounts and images printed on tile), we can only offer replacement and only in the case of faulty workmanship or where there was a defect in manufacturing the product.
Newport Geographic is unable to accept returns or provide refunds for a) visibly used or altered products b) products damaged due to inadequate return packaging c) products returned without a Return Authorization Number (RAN).
